Contract with CTBTO

Melanite Group has been awarded with a contract for the supply of electrical storage solution to Electrical Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization. The system will be shipped to and installed in Singapore.

The Preparatory Commission of the Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization desires to engage a contractor to supply, deliver batteries for International Monitoring System (IMS) Infrasound Station IS52 Diego Garcia, United Kingdom.

The equipment at the Station is powered by a 48 volt DC power system comprised of an array of photovoltaic (PV) panels and a bank of batteries. Replacement of the batteries, due to the remote location of the Station, has proven to be logistically difficult and costly. The current bank of batteries are approaching end-of-life and require replacement. The commission wishes to replace the existing bank of batteries with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries and to have the contractor supply and deliver these batteries along with ancillary items required to complete a full battery bank.
